What is Block Craft 3D?[]
Block Craft 3D is a free sandbox game that is a Minecraft inspired block based building game made by Fun Games For Free in 2015. Block Craft 3D entered open beta on Febraury 3, 2015 and was fully released on July 11, 2015.
History + Gameplay[]
Gameplay: Block Craft 3D is a building sandbox game that allows you to place and break blocks similarly to Minecraft, there are 2 different types of currencies, Coins and Gems, you can place down schematics and build them to obtain Coins and XP which allows you to progress in the game. There is a tutorial inside of Block Craft 3D at the start of the game which runs over the basics of the game that CAN be skipped by the player. Block Craft 3D also has a catalogue (similar to the Steam Workshop) which allows you to buy and sell schematics on the marketplace, albeit mostly filled with keyboard smash titled builds (in 2017, this catalogue was filled with Teen Titan themed stuff, Nobody knows why.) All builds cost Gems (for Catalogue builds) and Coins (Developer-made builds), as well as the ability to use Gems to obtain new block packs. The player's given a limited amount of blocks before running out (150 blocks to be exact, They regenerate over time).
There are presents you can break to receive some Gems or Coins (usually 1-2 Gems or 100 to 5000 coins) after watching an advertisement.
The world has multiple microtransactions (In-App purchases) including quote unquote "Fly Ability", Gems, Coins (You can get Coins with Gems, converting Gems to Coins at no real currency penalty)'
The game is similar to Minecraft's gameplay, albeit Microtransactions, no Survival mode, limited blocks, the ability to fly is locked behind a paywall.

Block Craft 3D hasn't received any major content updates for years. There's speculation that the game could be classed as Abandonware, as Fun Games For Free hasn't updated any of their games for years, except for bug fixes. It's most likely some of the developers (no longer under the Fun Games For Free name) still keep their games operational.
